Given that Britain is heading for a ten to fifteen year recession why not save the taxpayer £3,000,000,000 a year, £30,000,000,000 over ten years plus the receipts from the sale and then you can add the tax receipts from a privatised BBC. Everyone's a winner.

Add in the ridiculous, stalinist ID card scheme and that's another £20,000,000,000 saved.

So out of the £1,000,000,000,000 plus that the mad McMentalist has spunked in his orgy of deranged profligacy that's a mere £50 billion saved but at 5% of the total it's a start.
