An entertaining speech from Hague, especially when he's on Mandelson. Apologies for missing Hague's closing sentences, some welsh windbag interrupted.

Missed that got caught in a thunderstorm in Chester and got soaked, bought a lovely smoked scottish cheese, watched the rest we are in deep doo doo as they are looking after themselves and don't care about the people, just waiting on the vote.
Once again, Hague gives another entertaining speech.
Interesting to see MacShane getting into the swing of the party but the Welsh banshee just couldn't get it, preferring instead to parrot the labour message du jour of "where are the Tory policies", to which William turns around and says in a Les Dawson-esque way:
"I'm not afraid of any lady from Wales, apart from my mother-in-law"
Class!
What a shame it's not entertainment we need. Or is it? Class my ass.
Dear Mr Ishmael
Recall that this is a country where a sobbing 10 year old or a middle-aged chanteuse having a nervous breakdown live on camera are considered suitable prime-time family viewing. Or so I'm told - I don't actually watch that stuff, you understand, I just catch up with it when it is the lead item on, for goodness' sake, the news, which has been moved back to cope with said junior.
Sometimes you've got to make the best of what you've got, and in this case the RAF dropped a consignment of William Hague. I'd have preferred powdered egg, but we must think ourselves lucky it wasn't a job-lot of baseball caps.
Can't believe people are actually touting Hague as the new Messiah. He was a disastrous opposition leader, and I haven't heard anything from him that leads me to believe he'd be any better next time around.
